Roadwork this Wednesday, on Highway 68, is scheduled to include ramp and lane closures. That’s because Cal-Trans workers are slated to be doing a concrete pour that day. Westbound Highway 68 will have the Number 2 (slow lane) closed…..and the westbound on-ramp (from Spreckels Boulevard to Highway 68) is scheduled to be closed between 8:30 a-m and 4:30 p-m.
This roadwork is necessary for the Salinas River Bridge Widening Project (between River Road and Spreckels Boulevard). The project is estimated to be competed next winter (weather permitting).
