(10:00) SCOTTS VALLEY-Caltrans performed an emergency roadwork closure on highway 17 Sunday. Work crews closed the number 2 northbound lane at Vine Hill Road from 7a-m until 4 p-m . The closure was necessary to remove mud and debris from the roadway. Caltrans also reports that slides have also shut down Highway 9 north of Felon at Glen Arbor Road. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
