Due to damage done during an early morning multi vehicle collision on Highway 17, both Number 1 lanes are closed right now, so that repairs can be made. Cal-Trans hopes to re-open the lanes to through traffic by 4 p.m. this afternoon. The accident took place just before 6 a.m., on the southbound side (near the Vine Hill Road Exit). Both the south and northbound Number 2 lanes are currently open.
