Roadwork in Monterey County will temporarily close an exit off northbound Highway 101 beginning today. The exit to the Red Barn and Ballantree Lane will be closed as crews construct a northbound San Juan Road interchange off-ramp and a new frontage road. Motorists on southbound 101 will be able to access the Red Barn and Ballantree Lane by exiting at San Juan Road and turning left. Northbound motorists can turn left across the 101 onto Dunbarton Road then turn right onto San Juan Road. Construction is expected to be completed early next year.
