On Sunday evening, a motorist lost control of their vehicle on Highway 101.
The vehicle was travelling southbound near Airport Boulevard when it hydroplaned and rolled over upon crashing into a fence.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Because of this incident, California Highway Patrol reminds motorists about the dangers of slick roads as a result of heavy rains, and to plan ahead by allowing extra time to make it to your destination safely.
