A traffic fatality on Highway 1 north Scott Creek is being investigated as a possible suicide. On Saturday the CHP responded to reports of a vehicle down a cliff. The 22 year old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A records check found the vehicle was registered to an at risk person recently reported missing. A lack of skid marks and other evidence have the investigation focusing on suicide at this time.
