Cal-Trans workers hope to have the southbound lanes of Highway 1 at Morrissey Boulevard re-opened by about 6:30 p.m. today. 1 northbound lane is already open, but the southbound lanes have been closed for a while. The roadway was closed in both directions after live powerlines came in contact with a big-rig around 4:30 this afternoon.
