With a High Surf Advisory in effect now until tomorrow evening, waves could be as high as 18 to 24 feet, peaking upwards of 30 feet along the Monterey Bay.
Rocky Snyder, KSCOs surf and ski reporter mentions what time is best to stay away from the beaches..
“We’ve got ourselves some major swell coming in. Afternoon times are not the time to go around and look around the beaches for shells or anything like that”, Snyder said.
A High Surf Advisory is in effect for our area until 11 PM Tuesday.
