2 men have been arrested in connection with a major drug bust on the Central Coast. 50 year-old Aptos resident Jose Martinez, and 34 year-old Castroville resident Anthony Whitney, were arrested after more than a pound of heroin, 1.25 ounces of methamphetamine, and 52-hundred dollars were found in their possession. The search warrants were served on the 200 block of Sea Ridge Road in Aptos, and the 15,700 block of Castroville Boulevard in Castroville. The 2 men face multiple drug charges, as well as a gun charge, and the sales and transportation of a controlled substance.
