The American Red Cross Of The Central Coast is still seeking nominations for local heroes of 2017. Anyone can nominate a neighbor, co-worker, friend or family member who has shown special courage, dedication and character through acts of heroism and/or kindness in Santa Cruz, Monterey or San Benito counties throughout 2016. The Red Cross is accepting nominations in 11 separate categories. The deadline to put in a nomination is the end of the business day on February 27th.
