The public’s assistance is being sought in identifying a man (who was driving a stolen vehicle, that smashed into a fire hydrant in Santa Cruz over the weekend). The accident occurred on Soquel Avenue AT Mattison Lane, just off Highway 1. The Acura Integra involved was reportedly stolen from the Half Moon Bay area. The driver’s photograph has been posted on the C.H.P. website. Anyone with information about the driver is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Area C.H.P.
