It’s official, it’s going to be hot today.
The Monterey County Office of Emergency Services issued a heat advisory in affect from 11-am today until 7-tonite.
A light onshore breeze is expected to ease the extreme heat by this afternoon. Temperatures inland are expected to soar into the triple digits in some spots. Remember to hydrate with plenty of fluids and seek out air conditioning if you’re bothered by extreme heat.
