Hazel Hawkins Hospital, in Hollister, has set up a triage tent inside an ambulance bay. It is expected to be used as an area in which to screen patients if there is an outbreak of Covid-19 there….or a major patient surge. Hospital administrators hope this will minimize exposure to staff and other patients.
Anyone who shows symptoms that include fever, cough or difficulty breathing is asked to call ahead, not just walk-in to any emergency room.
