Hartnell College this morning broke ground on its new Center for Nursing and Health Sciences.
Called the “Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System Center for Nursing and Health Sciences” the new facility is being constructed on what was previously Parking Lot 3 at Alisal Street and Homestead Avenue.
College officials said the new building is being constructed using Measure T bond funding and a grant from the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System.
