a project is underway to install a water main at struve road near on harkins slough road. ultimately, the pipe is set to be mounted beneath the bridge that spans struve slough. the goal of the project is to combine water-pressure zones to make the water system more robust and versatile. one or both lanes of southbound harkins slough road will be closed on and off to allow for equipment and workers.
