a watsonville man connected to a stolen vehcile case earlier this week was arrested on gun charges yesterday. 19 year old alejanro plata was contacted by police officers around 5:30 p.m. after gunfire was heard near atkinson lane in watsonville. plata, who is on probation for concealed weapons charges, was found to be in possession of a gun and ammunition. he was arrested along with 29 year old eric pray. pray was also charged with a probation violation.
