A public works project is expected to cause traffic delays in Santa Cruz County tomorrow. Soquel Drive, between Capitola Avenue and Aguazul Drive, will be subject to lane closures in both directions. The metro bus stop in the area will be impacted and riders should plan to use an alternate stop. The lane closures are necessary for sampling groundwater monitoring wells. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible or be prepared for delays.
