Monterey county officials are working to resolve a dispute between the Salinas Valley and the City Of Marina. It’s all about the control of the site of the Cemex Sand Mining Plant, WHICH IS WHERE California American Water plans to drill its Desalination Project Intake Wells. Some want the county to declare itself the Groundwater Sustainability Agency for that area.
