The Monterey County District Attorney announced today that 19-year-old Juan Cervantes has pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter with a knife and related charges.
Police said a 20-year-old Christian Elizondo Pacheco was found suffering knife wounds and later died. The incident took place in 2018 at a home on 9th Street in Greenfield.
Cervantes will be sentenced to 16 years in prison.
