The Monterey bay aquarium now has a great white shark on display. The young, male shark arrived last night, nearly 2-weeks after being caught in waters near Malibu (in southern California). The 4-foot-7, 43-pound shark is the 6th great white that the aquarium has displayed. The other-5 were successfully returned to the ocean, and this shark is expected to be released as well, after a few months of being on display in the aquarium’s 1-million-gallon “open sea” exhibit.
