The annual Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill is slated to take place today. International ShakeOut Day is always the third Thursday of October and this year is no different. That said, it’s still important to follow all Covid-19 protocols. Several organizations and experts want to remind Californians to stay prepared for an earthquake. Experts advise people to have a plan for themselves and their family, as well as prepare an emergency kit with batteries, radios, and water.
