The Veterans Transition Center in Marina will be receiving a grant this week from Wells Fargo Bank. This $25,000 grant will go towards workforce development skills like resume writing and job retention work. Since its opening in 2002, the Veterans Transition Center has housed over 1,300 veterans and provided assistance to around 12,000 veterans last year alone. The bank will present the check to the center this Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Martinez Hall in Marina.
