(08:25) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz Public Library System (SCPL) invites the entire community to the Grand Opening Celebration of the new Veterans Information Center housed in the downtown Santa Cruz Library. The Grand Opening Celebration will be held on Thursday February 16th with a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon. The new center connects veterans and their families with state and federal resources on education, employment, housing, health, and disability. The Veterans Information Center hours are weekly on Mondays 1:00 to 3:00pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Librarians are also available for individual appointments.
