Google is under fire after the company reportedly stayed silent for years about sexual misconduct allegations against three senior executives. One of them, Android inventor Andy Rubin got a $90-million-dollar separation package after he left in 2014.
The New York Times uncovered the payments of Rubin and others. According to an email sent to employees by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, 48 people at Google have been terminated for sexual harassment over the last two years, 13 of them were senior managers and above.
