THE TWO WEEKLIES WILL COMBINE INTO ONE PUBLICATION, UNDER THE GOOD TIMES NAME. THE PURCHASE FROM MAINSTREET MEDIA GROUP ALSO INCLUDED DAILIES GILROY DISPATCH AND THE MORGAN HILL TIMES. METRO’S C-E-O DAN PULCRANO REPORTED THAT THEY WILL KEEP THE MAJORITY OF STAFF BUT, DID NOT NAME WHETHER GREG ARCHER, EDITOR OF THE GOOD TIMES, OR STEVE PALOPOLI, OF THE SANTA CRUZ WEEKLY WOULD BE NAMED EDITOR OF THE NEW PRODUCT.
