The Salinas man who was convicted of killing 2 children (and torturing a 3rd) has been sentenced. The ruling is that 20 year-old Gonzalo Curiel will spend the rest of his life in prison (without the possibility of parole). Because Curiel was only 17 when the torture and killings took place, he was not eligible for the Death Penalty.
