The Pebble Beach Company is getting proactive about golf ball clean up.
Following the removal of over 30-thousand errant golf balls from the Stillwater Cove region in a two year period… the pebble beach golf company decided to take action.
They will sponsor 198 annual dives to retrieve the balls, over the next five years at 11 different underwater sites. The removal program is expected to cost the Pebble Beach Company up to 250-thousand dollars. There will also be a “golfer awareness” campaign about hitting balls into the ocean.
