San Francisco-based web hosting company “Fastley” is working to fix their glitch that caused this morning’s global internet disruption. The outage, that began around 3 a.m. Pacific Time, impacted major sites such as: Amazon, Reddit, Twitter and Twitch, along with numerous news sites including the New York Times and The Guardian….and entertainment and user sites such as Paypal, Vimeo, Shopify, and others. The issue was in Fastley’s Content Delivery Network (CDN), which delivers image optimization, video and streaming, cloud security, and load balancing services.
