Police in Gilroy are searching for a suspect in an early morning stabbing today. Officers responded to the 200 block of Loupe Court, near Las Animas Veterans Park just after 5 a.m., and located a 68-year old man suffering from stab wounds to his upper torso and wrists. The stabbing suspect, a short Hispanic man between 50 and 60 years of age, was last seen running north. Anyone with any information is asked to call the crime tip line at 1-800-782-7463.
