3 men were arrested in gilroy early tuesday morning on suspicion of marijuana possession. around 3 a.m., gilroy police witnessed the suspects driving in a car that was allegedly so packed with marijuana that the trunk would not close. 18 year old david vasquez, 18 year old armando gonzalez, and 19 year old rene lujan were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale. after the arrest, officers found a nearby residence on rosanna street that was operating an indoor marijuana grow of more than 900 plants. the investigation is ongoing.
