A wildfire closed a Highway 101 off ramp near Gilroy yesterday (Thursday). The fire was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. next to northbound Highway 101 at Betabel. Fire Crews were able to bring the fire under control by about 4 p.m. and the off ramp was re opened a short time later. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
