A Tuesday fire in Watsonville is being blamed on gasoline thieves. Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire at Aviation Way and Airport Boulevard. At the scene fire crews found an SUV burning the blaze then spread to two other vehicles before being extinguished. The cause of the fire was determined to be a drill being used to breach a gas tank to steal fuel.
