(07:40) Salinas – A gang member was arrested yesterday in Salinas, after he was caught with a loaded gun. An officer was on a routine patrol through Acosta Plaza when he spotted 19 year-old Jesus Fernandez walking. The officer reported that when he got out of the vehicle Fernandez took off running. When officers caught Fernandez they found a loaded 9mm semi automatic handgun. Fernandez was transported to the Monterey County Jail where he was booked for several gang and gun charges.
