Turns out a close call in Gilroy was most likely an isolated incident.
Investigators in Gilroy believe a person almost hit by a cross-bow bolt while staying at a local hotel was not the intended target of the projectile.
The hotel guest was standing on the balcony of the “best western” on Leavsley road earlier this week, when a cross bow bolt almost hit their head.
Gilroy police say the near miss is not related to projectile incidents happening to motorists further down the road in Prunedale.
