21 projects statewide are getting funding, and 1 of those is in Monterey county. More than 4.5 million dollars of that money is now set to go to the Esselen Tribal Lands Conservation Project. The grant money is from the Natural Resources Agency, and is designed to be used to protect and enhance natural, cultural, historic, park and community resources.
