The former Scotts Valley Police Chief Thomas C. Bush passed away on Saturday ending his fight with cancer. Chief Bush was a 29 year veteran of the Scotts Valley Police Department when he retired in 2002. He was the department’s first full time detective and received over 90 commendations during his career including one for dedication to duty while recovering from cancer surgery in 1986. Memorial services are pending.
