A man who died after falling from a cliff in Fresno County last week has been identified as a Monterey native. Officials say 26-year-old Zachary Penn was camping with friends near Shaver Springs and Tollhouse Roads Wednesday. Penn walked away from the campsite shortly after 10 p.m. and did not return. His friends later discovered he had fallen off a 300-foot cliff. A rescue team found his body Thursday morning.
