In an effort to help families comply with a new state law requiring that all students in 7th through 12th grades be vaccinated against whooping cough, free clinics are set to be held this week. Students in santa cruz county can receive free shots tomorrow(wed), from 9 a.m. to noon, at the pajaro valley unified school district office-towers board room. Another clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, on Thursday, at Watsonville high school. Monterey county students can receive a free vaccination this Saturday, at the king city health department, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
