The former owner of a Santa Cruz County day spa, was arrested yesterday for suspicion of credit card fraud. 35-year old Sonya Harting, who owned Spoiled Rotten Day Spa in Aptos, allegedly charged numerous clients thousands of dollars of credit card charges. Harting, whose business was evicted in January, reportedly continued to sell gift certificates to the spa during the holiday season. Anyone with a gift certificate from Spoiled Rotten Day Spa is encouraged to call the Santa Cruz Property Crimes Unit.
