Carmel city leaders are expected to review the plans for the second phase of the renovation and repair of the historic Forest Theater. The theater was closed in April due to safety concerns and a lack of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The current plan for phase one is to complete the bidding process next month, and begin construction in March, with the theater set to open back up to the public in the summertime. This Thursday’s Carmel City Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in Carmel City Hall.
