The first woman District Attorney in Monterey County was sworn-in yesterday. Jeanine Pacioni replaces Dean Flippo, who retired after 28 years. Pacioni first came to the Monterey County District Attorney’s office as a Deputy D.A. back in 1992, and became the Assistant D.A. In 2014.
