A company that delivers Medical Marijuana in Monterey county, may become the first in the county to have a dispensary under the new laws. The Monterey County Planning Department has approved a land use plan for Big Sur Canna Botanicals to turn their current warehouse into a dispensary. Although paperwork has also been filed to get the needed business permit, the dispensary would still need a separate business license from the county. If all goes as planned, the dispensary would be located at the mouth of Carmel Valley, adjacent to the Barnyard Shopping Center.
