In the past 5 years, fireworks (and whether to ban them) has been on the Seaside City Council agenda 40 times, and this past week city council members officially suspended the city’s ban on all pyrotechnics. That’s because enough signatures were collected for a referendum petition against the city’s ordinance. Now it remains to be seen what city council members will decide to do about fireworks there.
