Fireworks and Other Events 07/03/17B S.S.

 

This year some Monterey Bay area Independence Day celebrations and events include:

• In Boulder Creek, There’s a 4^th of July Pancake Breakfast, a Parade, a BBQ picnic, and a July 4^th Barbecue and Pan For Gold.
• In Felton, a 4^th of July Barbecue and Family Event is scheduled to take place at Roaring Camp.
• In Scotts Valley, there will be a 4^th of July Parade in the morning, and  fireworks in the evening.
• In Santa Cruz there’s the Firecracker 5 and 10 k races and a Kid’s Run, the 4^th of July Brunch, a  free  community  swim  and  barbecue,  Fireworks Sailing Cruise, and an Old Fashioned Independence Day and Parade at Wilder Ranch.
• In Pleasure Point, there’s the World’s Shortest Surf Parade

–        The Aptos July 4^th pancake breakfast, The World’s Shortest Parade, and Party In The Park.

–        In Watsonville they’ll have the 4^th of July Spirit Of Watsonville Parade in downtown Watsonville, and the Airport open house (called Fire In The Sky)

 

• In Gilroy there will be a free fireworks show starting at 9:30 p-m at Gilroy High School,  while in Morgan Hill the 4^th of July Parade is slated to step-off at 10 a-m in downtown Morgan Hill  and  they  plan  to  have the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest, and Fireworks  On  The  Green  starting  at  9:30 p-m.  at  the Outdoor  Sports  Center.

 

• In Los Gatos Organizers are  set  to  have  the  4^th of July Symphony In The Park, starting at 4 p-m in Oak Meadow.
