They’re at it again!
The men and women in orange… otherwise known as Caltrans will be conducting the fire safe 17 brush removal.
Starting Monday, southbound highway 17 will have lane closures between Idlywild and madrone drive from 9-am until 3 in the afternoon. Closure signs will be posted and motorists can expect delays.
The fire safe campaign is an effort to reduce fuel reduction in the event of a wildfire and is a collaboration between cal-fire and the santa clara county fire safe council. For more information on the closures can contact firesafe 17.com for more information.
