cal fire crews were able to contain a brush fire off of highway-156 yesterday(sun), before the flames got out of control. 8-acres was scorched near san juan bautista, east of rocks road, before the fire was extinguished at about 3 p.m. (with the help of air-support). no structures were reported damaged, and no injuries were reported.
