The Watsonville airport event known as “Fire In The Sky” is expected to return this year….in September not July. The event, which is usually held on the 4th of July, will (this year) be celebrated on September 4th (on Labor Day weekend). The Watsonville Airport open house includes antique planes on display, flyovers, parachute landings, and a fireworks show. Annually, 5 to 8-thousand people generall y attend the Watsonville Airport event.
Although that’s the current plan, it could be changed….as the Airport has every expectation of following CDC, state, and county health guidelines
