About 75 firefighters are working to quell the 2-acre vegetation fire burning in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. It is reportedly burning in heavy timber near the San Lorenzo River. 5 fire engines, 3 hand crews, 1 helicopter and 1 water tender have been assigned to the fire that was called in around 2 o-clock this morning. No structures are currently threatened.
