Nobody was injured, although a number of people were evacuated, after an abandoned home caught fire in Santa Cruz county. The house was located near the intersection of Laken Drive and Holohan Road, in the Watsonville area. Anyone with information on how the Monday night fire began is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
