Fire investigators in Santa Cruz are trying to determine what caused a Friday night structure-fire off of Highway-9. Several fire agencies responded to the blaze on the 13-hundred block of Highway-9, which destroyed a commercial building and damaged 2-others. Fire Crews from UCSC, Scotts Valley, Cal-Fire, and Santa Cruz were able able to contain the flames in about a half-hour. No injuries were reported, damage is estimated at about 850-thousand dollars.
